Agricultural exports from Ukraine decreased by 22% in August

In August MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 3.7 million tons of grain and oilseeds, as well as vegetable oil. This is 22% less than in the same period last year.
This is evidenced by the information of the Ukrainian Grain Association on Facebook.
In the last month of summer, 2 million tons of wheat were exported (-9%), barley – 324 thousand tons (-31%), corn – 230 thousand tons (2.8 times less).
At the same time, soybean exports increased compared to August last year and amounted to 208 thousand tons (+43%), and rapeseed – decreased to 519 thousand tons (-35%).
Sunflower oil supplies to foreign markets in August amounted to 161 thousand tons, which is 19% less than a year earlier. Soybean oil exports increased by 46% and amounted to 38 thousand tons.
