
On March 26, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin. 60,000 tons of barley were purchased at $235.5 C&F from Cargill with shipment from July 1 to 15. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
The following also took part in the tender:
- Viterra, which offered barley at $237.99 per ton
- Bunge – $239.50
- CHS – $246
- Ameropa – $235.95
- Olam – $241.68
- Al Dahra – $237.00
- Agrochirnogi – $240.50
- Dreyfus – $237.50
The next tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin will be held on April 9. Shipment is scheduled for July-September.
