120 mln tons of cargo transported through the Ukrainian Black sea grain corridor
120 million tons of cargo were transported through the Ukrainian sea corridor. This was written in Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
Almost 4.6 thousand vessels left Ukrainian ports. Of the 120 million tons of cargo, 76 million tons are agricultural products.
The Ukrainian corridor ensures constant transportation of products to 53 countries. Among the destinations are countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
For a number of regions of the world, the sea route remains the only logistically justified option for deliveries. Maintaining stable exports ensures access to food for millions of people in the world.
“Ukrainian logistics operates under shelling, under constant threat. Last year alone, air raids were declared in the Odessa region more than 800 times. The total time when port workers were forced to interrupt operations and stay in shelters is more than 32 days. Despite these conditions, the logistics process did not stop and ensured stable exports,” emphasized Oleksiy Kuleba.
For almost 30 years of expertise in the agri markets, UkrAgroConsult has accumulated an extensive database, which became the basis of the platform AgriSupp.
It is a multi-functional online platform with market intelligence for grains and oilseeds that enables to get access to daily operational information on the Black Sea & Danube markets, analytical reports, historical data.
