100 mln tons of cargo have already been transported through the Ukrainan Black Sea grain corridor – Zelenskyy
Over the year and a half of the Ukrainian sea corridor’s operation, 100 million tons of cargo have been transported to 53 countries. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram.
“The Ukrainian sea corridor is working despite all the challenges of war, despite Russia’s constant attacks on our ports. 100 million tons of cargo have been transported over the year and a half of the corridor’s operation. 53 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and America have been covered by our exports,” he informed.
According to Zelenskyy, this result is felt not only in Ukraine but also in the respective countries that consume Ukrainian food.
“Ukraine, while defending itself in this war, also cares about global food security through the work of the maritime corridor. Because the sustainability of our maritime industry is not only about the economy, it is also about protecting humanity,” the Head of State emphasized.
He expressed his gratitude to everyone who made this result possible, “first of all, to our soldiers who ensured the return of free navigation and the expulsion of the Russian military fleet.”
