10 regions have already started sowing in Ukraine
As of March 16, 2023, 10 regions of Ukraine started sowing, while last year the sowing had not started at this time.
Thus, all categories of farms sowed 82.7 thou hectares of grains and pulses, including 26 thou hectares of spring wheat, 44.2 thou hectares of spring barley, 12 thou hectares of peas and 0.5 thou hectares of oats.
Most of the grain and pulses were planted in Odesa region – 34.3 thou hectares.
Over the past week, 66.6 thou hectares of grains and pulses were planted, with Ternopil region leading the way with 20.4 thou hectares.
