Algeria imports 38% of Russian soybean oil

In September-June of the 2018/19 season, soybean oil exports were record high at 458.1 KMT against 427.3 KMT a year before, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Algeria remained the largest importer (38%). The imports decreased by 7% to 172.7 KMT.
Iran took the fourth place among key importers with a share of 10% this season. The country imported 44.6 KMT of soybean oil.
In the 2018/19 season, the markets of India and Vietnam were opened.
Exports grew in the following directions: Cuba (+18%), Denmark (+109%) and Tunisia (+18%). Though exports decreased to China (-23%).
