Ukraine. Corn yield is 30% lower than a year ago

According to preliminary data as of October 29, 2020, the biggest year-on-year slowdown is observed in harvesting progress of crops such as:

  • corn: -6.4%,
  • soybeans: -24.9%.

The following crops are harvested at a faster pace than last year: millet (+82.4%), buckwheat (+18.8%), sunflower (+5.8%).

Essentially lower yields than a year ago are for corn (-30.0%), soybeans (-11.9%), sunflower (- 18.6%), UkrAgroConsult reports.
