Kazakhstan. A large oil extraction plant to be built in Akmola region

In Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan’s LLC Sunshine Agro JV and China’s investment group GansuTian Yuan YangGuang Agricultural Development have signed an agreement on the construction of an oil extraction plant. The investment project will cost USD 52 Ml., reports UkrAgroConsult.

The first stage (production of unrefined vegetable oils) will be completed in 2021. The second stage envisages the construction of oil refining and packing facilities.

The design capacity will be 1000 MT a day or some 300 KMT of oilseeds (linseed, rapeseed, sunseed, soybeans) a year. 

The plant will produce roughly 120 KMT of vegetable oils and over 110 KMT of rapeseed, linseed and sunseed meals.

It is planned to export some 80% of the vegetable oils to China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan, while the meals will be supplied mostly to Uzbekistan, Iran and Russia.
