Belarus boosted rapeseed product exports
According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the country exported 114 KMT of rapeseed meal during the first nine months in the current year. This is a record volume for this period, eight times as much as a year ago, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The top importers of Belarusian rapeseed meal included Russia (41.7 KMT), the United Kingdom (14.7 KMT), and Lithuania (13.6 KMT).
In January-September 2018, rapeseed oil exports grew to 160 KMT that is almost six times as much as in the same period last year.
Belarusian rapeseed oil is exported mostly to Russia (57.5 KMT), Norway (42.9 KMT), and Lithuania (33.6 KMT).
The upward trend in rapeseed product exports is fueled by growth in crushing facilities, which process not only Belarusian rapeseed but also imported commodity.
